A Yacht Party for Black Women

Who is this event for?

• Black Women! This Yacht Party is for you, because Black women deserve relaxation and luxury. We have consistently served as the moral compass of this country- selflessly serving others and holding folks accountable. It is time to let your hair down.
• This event is for anyone who identifies as a Black Women, is 21+, and is looking to live their best lives and build meaningful connections with other Black women.  Our inaugural yacht party will have an atmosphere of love and sisterhood.  If you love the company of Black women, this party is for you and your sister-friend(s)!  This event will sell out, as we only have space for 100 women. Be sure to get your ticket early!

The Context

• Join the ladies of The Wells Collective for an afternoon celebration of soul food, sun, and sisterhood as we celebrate our ancestors and ourselves.  The theme is “Black Women Deserve Freedom & Joy”.  We’ll build community and create joyful memories while cruising the waters of the Middle River, heading toward Heart Miller Island. This is sure to be the  summer event that we all deserve.  The day will include a buffet style brunch, all the R & B and hip hop jams, dancing, and bottomless mimosas.

• French toast
• Fruit
• Pastries
• Breakfast potatoes
• Mini Quiches
• Dessert bar: Cheesecake, brownies, cookies
• Bottomless mimosas included in ticket price
• There will also be vegan options avilable 

What's the attire?

• Whatever makes you feel cute, sis! Black women look especially radiant in pastels and bold colors. We encourage you to SHINE! A photographer will be on site to capture our joy.

• We recommend staying in downtown Baltimore, MD (25 minutes from the location), or in Washington, DC (1-1.5 hours from the location). There is ample parking available at the boat site.

COVID-19 Protocol

• COVID-19 protocols will be in place, to include testing and vaccination requirements. Details to come closer to the date of the event. Please prepare to arrive wearing a mask (yes, we know this may mess up your makeup. Sorry, sis!)
